About music copyright: |
The composer and performer both have rights which must be respected. Copyright on any music typically lasts about 50 years, though the period of time varies from one nation to another.
On the Pathways web site, there is downloadable classical music. These compositions are much more than 50 years old. The performances were done more recently by Arthur de Leyssac, using a keyboard to simulate multiple instruments, with the multi-part arrangements put together via the use of electronic sequencing. The performer has made these available to you at no charge for your personal use, provided that you do not sell copies.
